Here, an entire carload of stars urged you to buy Lucky Strike Cigarettes. The ad included Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Phil Harris, Dennis Day, Don Wilson, Rochester, Robert Montgomery, Raymond Scott, Eileen Wilson, Snooky Lanson, Dorothy Collins, and Clifton Fadiman.
Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz got in on the act by promoting “I Love Lucy” sponsor, Philip Morris.
Jackie Gleason wanted you to buy Manhattan Shirts.
The stars are out for this Telethon Timers clock-radio. This celebrity filled ad featured Dean Martin, Judy Garland, Nat King Cole, Stan Kenton, Four Freshmen, Les Paul & Mary Ford, Ray Anthony, Margaret Whiting, and Glen Gray.
